Family Trees
An interactive family tree can be browsed by clicking on any one of the links below. The family tree will open in a new window, and there you may click on any of the rectangles representing a person to drill up or down in the tree.
Efforts have been made to protect the privacy of living individuals. Please use the Connect With Us page to notify us of any errors in the tree or to alert us to any privacy concerns. We would also love to hear from you if you have information that will allow us to expand any of the trees.
Note: Charlotte (Charity) Bonham, wife of David Bonham, is clearly related to the family of John & Penelope Bonham as she shares a headstone with their baby daughter, Louisa Bonham. Living descendants of the family think of her as a great grandmother, but if the birthdates we have for Charity and John Bonham are correct, she cannot be his mother. I have included Charity in the family tree as a step-mother to John Bonham, and hope that continued research will allow a more confident relationship to be documented in future.
Note: Reliable records for the ancestry of Martin Gaines Cagle have proven elusive. We believe Martin to have been the son of Jacob and Catherine Cagle, as depicted in this family tree, but we’d be particularly grateful for any corroborating information anyone can contribute.
Note: Thomas and Margaret Wilks came to Texas with their five youngest children, Julia, Rebecca, Madison, Newton, & Milton. In the course of this project, we have been in contact with descendants of Julia, Rebecca, Newton, & Milton. We’d be delighted to hear from descendants of Madison Wilks.
